How to Reach: 

By Car – There is a direct route to reach Coronado Beach through Coronado Bridge from San Diego. Take the south down route and follow the further route to reach.

By Public Transport – There is a bus route available on the MTS Blue line light rail to San Diego, then you have to change to the MTS Silver Line trolley which leads to Convention Center Station, from there you can walk through Coronado beach which is about 1.5 miles away.

By Ferry – You can purchase your ferry tickets online or at the ferry terminal as well, then after landing at Coronado Ferry landing you have to walk or take a taxi to reach your destination which is about 1.5 miles away from there.

Catalina Island:

Catalina Island is approximately 22 miles off the coast of Southern California, making for a memorable beach for family vacation. Only accessible by high-speed ferry and aircraft, while beaches are available around the island. This attractive two-tiered beach is located next to the iconic island. it has a $2 entrance fee and they will provide facilities like restrooms, showers and lounge chair/cabana rentals. It’s also home to Avalon’s only beachside restaurant and bar is where you can fully enjoy with your family. Once you reach the island, you can explore the beaches either by walking, biking, or taking a taxi.

Location: Catalina Island is on the coast of southern California which is only 22 miles (35 km) south-southwest of Los Angeles. 

Things to do on Beach: There are various activities to do at Catalina Casino that offer great swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding.

How to Reach:

By air: You would first need to book a flight from Washington Dulles International Airport or Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, you can fly directly to Catalina Island. The island has an airport called Catalina Airport (also known as Airport in the Sky), which is located in the interior of the island.

By ferry or boat: Another option to reach Catalane Beach is to take ground transportation (such as a shuttle or taxi) from the airport to a nearby ferry terminal. It takes up to 1 hour.

Thousand Step Beach (Laguna beach):

Location: Laguna Beach is located in the middle of the town where Broadway and Ocean Avenues intersect Coast Highway.

Things to do in Laguna Beach:  The beach is called for the long walk down the stairs that lead to the seaside (jogging up and down these stairs is well-known for exercise enthusiasts) and it is great for surfing and explorers looking for hidden gems.

How to Reach:

By car:  If you’re traveling by car, you can drive to Thousand Steps Beach Keep in mind that parking can be limited, especially during peak times, so it’s good to arrive early or consider possible transportation.

By walking/Biking:  If you’re staying in Laguna Beach or are in the vicinity, you can walk or take a bike to Thousand Steps Beach. The beach is reachable from several pathways and streets in the neighborhood.

How to Reach:

By car: If you’re going by car you can reach Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk by taking Highway 1 (which is also known as the Pacific Coast Highway) from here Signs will direct you to the Boardwalk parking areas.

By public transport: Santa Cruz operates bus services throughout the city, including the routes that stop near the Boardwalk. Although some regional bus services may have routes that include stops in Santa Cruz.

How to Reach:

By car:  If you are reached by car from San Francisco, take Highway 1 southbound which is approximately 30 miles until you reach Half Moon Bay. Once in Half Moon Bay you see signs for Dunes Beach. There is also a car parking area so you can park your car there.

By public transport: So there is no direct public transport route to Dunes Beach, you can take public transport to Half Moon Bay and then use a ride or taxi to reach the beach.

By walking:  If you are staying near the half moon bay, you can take a walk to dunes beach depends on your location.
